Crispus Attucks Children’s Center Selected to Participate in Harvard Business School Association of Boston’s Community Action Partners Program

Dorchester, MA - Crispus Attucks Children’s Center (CACC) has been selected from a competitive pool of over 25 applicants to receive a pro bono consulting engagement by Harvard Business School Association of Boston’s Community Action Partners (CAP).

Community Action Partners (CAP) is a volunteer organization of Harvard Business and Kennedy School alumni, helping Boston-area nonprofits apply management skills to their business challenges. Last year CAP volunteers provide an estimated 13,000+ hours of consulting, equivalent to approximately $3.4 million in pro bono services to worthy nonprofits. These volunteers offer a powerful blend of business expertise and passion for making a difference in the community. CAP projects result in incredible impact for nonprofit clients and are a uniquely rewarding volunteer experience for alumni.

“We look forward to our partnership with CAP,” said Amanda Gorner, Executive Director CACC. “The work we’ll do will help us sustain and enhance our legacy as a longstanding neighborhood institution dedicated to excellence in early education and family support.”

“We are very excited to work with Crispus Attucks Children’s Center this year,” states CAP Executive Director Kathy Le. “CACC is doing critical work for the greater Boston community. The nature of their business challenge, mission, and social impact make them a very attractive partner for our alumni volunteer teams.”
